About ENCOT Foundation

Locally rooted, systems-focused, and built for scalable rural transformation.

ENCOT Foundation was established in Masindi by indigenous community development practitioners and, in 2025, completed its first full year as a stand-alone development organisation with staff, governance systems, and field delivery capacity in place. Agriculture Value Chain Acceleration Model (AVCAM) now anchors food security, enterprise opportunity, and rural systems change.

  • 1
    Agriculture first
AVCAM made agriculture and food security the lead entry point for inclusive local economic transformation.
  • 2
    Five thematic areas
ENCOT now works across Agriculture & Food Security, ICT4 Development, Circular Economy, WASH, and Climate Change.
  • 3
    Evidence-led growth
The Foundation strengthened MEL tools, digital systems, partnership mapping, and governance for 2026 scale-up.
